2019 was an excellent year for both private brand and My Private Brand. Now in its twelfth year, MPB continues to grow and lead the industry with first to market stories and powerful thought leadership.
The Velocity Conference and Vertex Awards continued their impressive growth with record-setting attendance and awards entries. The inaugural edition of the Velocity Europe conference hosted retail and private brand executives from around the world in Lisbon Portugal to learn, debate, and network.

Velocity: the My Private Brand Conference
This year will mark the fourth anniversary of the groundbreaking Velocity: The My Private Brand Conference. This year’s event is May 11-13, 2020, at the Le Meridien Hotel in Charlotte, NC. The event is a thought leadership forum dedicated to private brand strategy, development, manufacturing, quality, design, and management.
The conference has featured an exclusive lineup of speakers from the world’s top retailers, including Walmart, Kroger, Publix, Ahold Delhaize, and dozens more.
In 2020, the conference continues to be committed to pushing the industry forward, disrupting the conversation, and creating unparalleled one-one connections.

The Vertex Awards
In 2020 the Vertex Awards will celebrate the winners with two awards ceremonies.
The Vertex Awards North & South America Ceremonywill be May 12, 2020, at the Le Meridien hotel in Charlotte, NC. The ceremony will be at the end of the first full day of the Velocity Conference, with a rooftop cocktail party to follow.
The Vertex Awards Europe, Africa & Asia Ceremonywill be our first black-tie gala. The event will be Wednesday, May 27, 2020, at the W Hotel in Amsterdam. The ceremony will follow cocktails and a three-course dinner.

The 8th edition of The Vertex Awards will open for entry Monday, November 16, 2020.
My Private Brand
Sustainability Summit 2020
This year we will introduce our first one day summit. The My [Private] Brand Sustainability Summit will be October 15, 2020, at District Hall, in Boston, MA. The goal is to ask questions and challenge existing answers about sustainable packaging, equitable/ethical sourcing, and authentic marketing.
