Icco-AnnaIn 1932, Anna Savarese Angiolillo became a cheese wholesaler in Brooklyn…Delivering Quality for Three Generations

In 1932, Anna Savarese Angiolillo became a cheese wholesaler in Brooklyn, New York. She built a successful business, The Italian Cheese Co., based on the quality and freshness of her goods as well as her dedicated customer service. Today Icco Cheese is proud to continue with Anna’s traditions, becoming a leading grated cheese and bread crumb manufacturer.

ICCO Cheese combines the best domestic cheeses with some of the finest imported cheeses to create their grated Parmesan and Romano products. These carefully selected cheeses from countries around the world like Italy, Argentina, Australia, Ireland and the USA are blended to develop high-quality grated cheese brands for their loyal retail customer base.
Icco Cheese also specializes in packaging plain and Italian flavored bread crumbs. For flavored products, a family recipe delicately blends 11 herbs and spices without damaging the toasted crumbs. As with their grated cheeses, the bread crumbs are offered in a variety of convenient canister sizes and environmentally friendly, cost-saving packaging options.

Building Relationships that Build Brands >>

For eight decades ICCO Cheese has paid as much attention to the quality of their business relationships as they have to the quality of their products, building loyal, long-term relationships with trusted suppliers across the globe and, as importantly, with their extended family of customers in the USA, Latin America, Asia and the Middle East.

In 1958, they created their first private label line of products for ShopRite supermarkets. They have since helped many other small and large businesses launch their own private label programs and helped to develop line extensions for prominent food brands such as Pastene and Ronzoni.

From the development of new product lines, innovative package designs, distribution planning solutions and in-store merchandising, when your brand name is on the label, they do everything they can to help you and your brand succeed.

Customer Service that’s Made to Order >>

At ICCO Cheese all of their products are made to order, tailored only by the needs of their customers. They provide the same specialized service opportunities to each of their unique clients be they small specialty stores, large supermarket chains, leading distributors, mass merchandisers or food service companies. It is because of their unusually flexible production services that they are able to satisfy such a large and diverse customer base.

Applying Technology Where It Counts >>

ICCO Cheese’s state-of-the-art facility in Orangeburg, New York was specially designed to take advantage of the latest technologies in the industry. And they still continually look for ways to upgrade their capabilities and enhance their current high-tech resources.

Taking Pride In Quality >>

In fact, ICCO Cheese takes quality so seriously, they voluntarily participate in the Food and Drug Administration’s Hazardous Analysis & Critical Control Point program, demonstrating their commitment to food safety and excellence. They also support a dedicated quality control coordinator as well as a safety and sanitation coordinator. All of their food standards are of the highest order, efforts that they believe make sense and would make Anna very proud.

Safety Quality Food Certificate number 0835 assures their customers that food has been produced, processed, prepared and handled according to the toughest standards, at all levels of the supply chain. ICCO is currently SQF Level 3 approved. For more information please visit …www.iccocheese.com.
