Announcing The Wall Project at Cosmopack 2015 Event

COSMOPROF WORLDWIDE BOLOGNA is the leading international B2B event for companies and professional operators in the beauty sector. 207,238 visitors attended the 2014 edition, including 59,319 from abroad. More than 250,000 products were exhibited by 2,450 exhibitors from 69 countries.

Cosmopack Bologna is the “show within a show” of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna, with 14,000 sqm of dedicated exhibition space and more than 400 companies exhibiting from 33 different countries. Cosmopack is the biggest international trade fair dedicated to all the entire supply cosmetics production chain: raw materials, machinery and automated systems, packaging and full service solutions. The creative content, the products exhibited and the innovative formulas make this fair a unique event.

For a second time, the WALL will be unveiled at Cosmopack from March 19th to 22nd 2015, a ground‐breaking project geared towards rewarding products utilizing scientific advancements with a focus on eco‐beauty, while maintaining ontrend cosmetics, skin‐care, and personal care products through creativity and research.

Cosmopack will be curating “The WALL” Eco‐Beauty Edition following its premiere success from 2014. The project developed to recognize Cosmopack exhibitors who create products that strengthen the ideas of beauty originality, through packaging, outsourcing, and machinery, is now taking on environmental sustainability as a focus. The WALL’s second edition aims to capture greater attention on the concept of eco‐beauty, prioritizing the exhibitions’ 2015 theme.

The “Eco‐Beauty WALL” will spotlight ingredients such as pigments, polymers, active substances, aromas, and containers with new technology, e.g. bottles, tubes, and boxes that will be considered and reviewed by experts from the global beauty market. This recipe allows for content to expand and shape the significance of eco‐sustainability, providing a renewable energy in the world of beauty as well as our environment.

Products that fit within this criteria will be exhibited in the “Eco‐Beauty WALL”, located inside COSMOPACK between Pavilions 15 and 18. A display of all the creations will be open for visitors to see during the four day event. An expert jury from Italia Imballaggio, L’Oréal, Certiquality and Domus Academy will award the prize for the most excellent innovation.
